Lens Ball Photography

Updated: Oct 20, 2022

I've had this lens ball for a few years now and have yet to use it. So when my professor had us do a project in visualization I thought this was my opportunity to execute this idea I've had for so long. So this last weekend my boyfriend came down to visit me and we headed up the cedar city canyon. we drove for a while to find some beautiful big pine trees to capture. We parked on the side of the road and started to walk around and play with the camera and lens ball. Getting the light just right with the crystal ball was very difficult, we had a lot of bad photos but eventually we got it figured out and were able to create some beautiful shots. The editing process was the longest part, learning how to flip just the ball in the photo so everything was right side up, and make it not look weird was super hard. I learned so much more in photoshop. These photos were edited with both Adobe lightroom and photoshop. I am very proud of these photos and I am excited to keep experimenting with my lens ball and creating more beautiful photos!
